The Faroe Islands have a rich history which has been passed down for generations. Once home to Irish monks and later, Norse settlers, these remote and idyllic islands have a long history, a unique culture and some of the most stunning ecological features imaginable. Getting to the Faroe Islands
Travel has become even easier this year thanks to Atlantic Airways, the national carrier of the Faroe Islands. A recent announcement was made by Atlantic Airways that it has now launched a new twice-weekly service from Edinburgh to the islands. In an effort to open these stunning islands to visitors and those traveling for business, the new flights will operate Monday evenings and Friday mornings and will be in addition to other direct flights from Denmark, England, Iceland and Norway as well as Bergen.What inspires you to travel?
